Rebecca Kidner, founder and owner of Tiny Toes Ballet
Rebecca Kidner is the heart and soul behind Tiny Toes Ballet, a magical dance school that has been enchanting children aged 2 to 7 across Sydney’s Hills District, Inner West, and North Shore for over 15 years. As the founder and principal, Rebecca has created a nurturing space where imagination, movement, and joy come together in every class.
Professional Ballet Training
With over two decades of experience in teaching ballet, Rebecca’s journey began with professional ballet training. Faced with the choice of pursuing a dance career overseas or staying in Sydney with her now-husband, she chose love and built a life rooted in family and community. Today, she is a proud mother of two and leads a thriving ballet school with over 1,000 students, supported by a dedicated team of teachers and staff.
Business Woman of the Year
Rebecca’s passion extends beyond dance. She is committed to empowering young dancers and supporting local families by providing flexible employment opportunities to university students and mums seeking work-life balance. Her contributions to the community were recognized when she was named Business Woman of the Year by The Hills Shire Council.
Storytelling, music and imaginative play
At Tiny Toes Ballet, Rebecca has crafted a unique programme that blends storytelling, music and imaginative play to teach ballet fundamentals. Her classes focus on building confidence, creativity, and school readiness skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Special events like the Annual Daddy Daughter Dance and in-class concerts without makeup or ticket costs reflect her commitment to creating joyful experiences for families.
Love of dance and community
Rebecca’s dedication to fostering a love for dance and community continues to inspire both her students and peers. Through Tiny Toes Ballet, she invites every child to step into a world of fairies, unicorns and endless possibilities.
